I'm in the process of installing the scott's stabilizer on my bike and I've installed it, but am finding the fuel tank's rear bolt is not lining up real well. So this had me thinking if the frame bracket may need to seat flush on the frame. The instructions mention you may need to file a bit of the frame. I filed what I felt was a lot of the frame and the frame bracket did not mount flush, I torqued up the set screws 1/8 of a turn as directed, but wonder if I need to take it off and file more to allow the frame bracket to mount completely flush against the frame. Please let me know if anyone else has had this problem or any possible solutions. Thanks.
