When I picked up my bike, John threw in a Powerwerks 12v monitor:

I installed it on a homemade panel above the ignition.

On it's first frog choker(spanning from Missouri to Kansas) the display went nuts, flashing between 9.8 and 10.8v and continued to do so even after everything dried out. So I emailed Powerwerks and got a reply in about 1/2 hr.....that model is NOT waterproof.

But, this one is, so I ordered it ...$30 off of fleabay:

Anyway, just thought I post this up to keep someone else from making the same mistake...........

Think I gave like $15 for my Ebay voltmeter, and it has been thoroughly tested to be waterproof. LOL

I tucked my V meter under the dash I made so it is protected a bit from direct rain dousing. It's supposed to be water resistant to. I think it was less than 10 bucks. maybe from Bang Good?
Someplace back East anyway. Imagine that, a US rep for a Chinese product. Shipped free.
I need to remember who I got it from so i can get a couple more for the other bikes.

Nice homemade panel by the way.
Thanks, it was surprisingly easy to make the bends using a heat gun. The drawback is the rear of it is completely exposed. I don't think the usb port or the abs cut off switch(added after pic and is in the center) are sensitive to water, but I sure hate looking at all those wires when the handle bars are turned.
