My '07 DL-1000 is making a clicking/popping noise when I rotate the rear wheel by hand. Thinking it might be the chain, I removed it from the rear sprocket and rotated the wheel by hand again. The noise still there.

I little history. The bike as 14,600 miles on the original chain and sprocket set. They are in good condition. I recently did Richland Ricks spacer exchange. The noise was not there before the exchange nor was it there immediately after the spacer install.

I have inspected all of the bearings and they all seem fine. There are no signs of metal on metal contact between the sprocket carrier and the wheel. Any ideas?

I did see that but in my case there does not appear to be any metal on metal contact so machining wouldn't change anything.
