Does anyone use PMracks for their soft saddlebags?
I was wondering if they are symmetrical and keep the soft saddlebags tight against the bike.

Thank,
Dino

I have them with Nelson Rigg Adventure soft bags mounted. The racks are fairly symmetical I think and the bags don't move around.

I have the PMRacks and a set of NR soft luggage (I don't recall the model, don't think they make them anymore). Let me see if I can find a decent pic.....

I don't have any straight on pics from the front or back but maybe these will give you an idea. I like the racks. They seem well made and went on easily. Like most "direct bolt-on" components there was a little bit of leverage needed to get all the holes lined up. Nothing too crazy, though.

Thanks Spec. Do the NR saddlebags stick out? Any pics?

Dino
Here they are at max expansion. I leave them on all the time so installed plastic trash cans to hold the shape. (used the same trash cans as this guy, here).

PMRack with Cortech 2.0 bags

I have the racks on my '13 650 with the Cortech 2.0 saddlebags. They support the bags, keeping the right bag off of the exhaust heat shield without pushing them off the bike too much.

I use those racks with Ortlieb Moto Saddle-Bags and it works great. If you use a style like those or the Nelson Riggs that connect to one another as well as to the bike you'll be fine. Not sure how those racks would work with the style of bag that attaches directly to the rack itself , like some of the enduro style ones do.
