Hello DL1050 owners.

Just wanted to let you guys know that there is a plug and play cable adapter for the rear wiring harness available for the DL1050. It allows for brake, running/tail light and turn signals.

I recently received this with my universal side case LED light kit.

It is available from AdMoreLighting (Alberta, Canada) and the part number is A-VS3. Picture below.
Female and male connectors to plug into the signal connector as well as the tail light connector.

At the time of this posting I do not see it listed on their website. I think it is a new offering for them and site has not been updated. I am sure if you contact them and provide the part number they will be able to sell it.
I do not know the cost as this was given to me as a show special gift with my purchase of the universal light kit. Their VS1 and VS2 adapters are prices at $36CAD so I would expect this one to be the same or similar.

Interesting, as I think my friend from Olds Alberta helped develop this connector.

Cool.
I spoke with Dave (possibly owner) from the company and he seems like a really nice guy aside from the great deal on the light kit.

Yes, Super customer service, he is in Calgary and one weekend I had a traveler at my house who needed some posi locks for some work to his bike. The owners dad drove them over to my house on his way home.

Yes they do but I believe theirs only has the connector for tail and brake light.
The version with signal and license plate light is "coming soon"

Looks awesome.

Question:
Which hand guards are you using on the bike and which "cheap amazon" led lights do you have fitted on the hand guards?

Also.
I have the same side case LED kit to go onto my Outback Trekker cases.
I plan on getting my switched power from license plate light t as this light is ON when the ignition is the the Parking mode. Say you are on the side of the road and want to put your 4-ways on. You can put the ignition into (P) and this will turn the running lights on as well as the flashers (stock and side cases)
If you grab the switched power from the AUX cigarette lighter, the side case lights will NOT be on as the AUX is not switched with the (P) mode.

I have yet to do the wiring on the bike as I am planning on experimenting with some magnetic connectors for the bike to side case connection. The twist lock connectors that AdMore provided are great but I am afraid I will rip them apart when I forgot to disconnector the cables before removing the cases.

I followed the instructions from Admore directly for the plug and play kit. The running lights do come on with the ignition switch, as tapped into the aux 12v power supply socket. I'm not sure about the park mode.
Overall I'm happy. I too hope to not yank off the connector with the panniers.

Any particular reason why you removed the factory hand guards swapped in the Amazon ones?
I tried to like the originals, but I found them flimsy in the wind, and wanted a little more protection when I drop it in a parking lot.

Did you use controller for CoCsmart flexible led? how did you got that installed.
appriciate your help
No controller. I wired them at the same time i connected the rear (new) additional lights and ran wires up front. They are glued and secured to the handguards with zipties. So far, so good.
