This was the first time since we got back to Arizona that we could get together and ride with our buddy Heavy-H. Mr. Bill, Meredith and I met Howard in Old Town Cottonwood for coffee at The Red Rooster Cafe.

It was going to be a beautiful day to ride and we decided to go over Mingus Mtn. through Jerome to the Rustic Pie in Prescott, AZ.

It is amazing how green things are because of the summer monsoons....

Always enjoy the flamingos on the way into Jerome, noting their constantly changing attire (see Another Roadside Attraction, ride report)

Arrived just in time to have PIE for lunch!

Three slices of pie, two coffees and we were back on the road headed for home...

Yo, Base Camp. Good to see a new entry. Heavy H and John didn't come by for a stay on their annual coast trip. Good to see he is still riding.
Love Jerome and the surrounding countryside.
Thanks for the post.

There used to be a Pie Shop in Wrightwood Ca. They moved to Prescott. I wonder if it is the same owners?
They had really good pies and sandwiches.
I found them on Google Earth. Reading the "about us", gotta be the same folks. Vinyl records and all.
