My son is 8 and just recently asked what a pen pal was. I told him it was someone who you traded letters with in another part of the world. I asked him if he was interested and where he was most interested, and he said "Australia."

He doesn't know about New Zealand but dad does, so that would be great as well.

If any of you have a boy of similar age or have a neighbor or friend. please pm me.

Every 8 year old deserves a Dad with your values,hope your search is fruitful,when I was his age I had a penpal in Canada such a far away place and in the era when paper mail was all there was,regards.
