so im in need of some new side cowls. the big side fairings... i have an 2002 dl1000. what other year cowls can i use?

i saw some other forums that had some info but nothing definitive.

while were talking about it, what other parts can or cant you use from year to year? i would also like the new handguards but just dont know what could work...

Only 2002 and 2003 side cowlings are the same except for color. Things changed in 2004 for all later models. Handguards changed in 2004 too but complete sets can be used as replacements. Don't believe the Suzuki accessory catalogs that say the DL650 handguard set will fit the DL1000. The clutch lever side is different. See What parts can be swapped!
