I've just added a Dobeck TFI unit to my DL1K3 and dialed it in with the PAIR valve system intact. The TFI has made a noticeable difference.

I have heard that removing the PAIR from the system (capping off the line on the airbox and top of the PAIR valve) when doing a TFI tune up can/will make the TFI tune up even more effective since the PAIR can affect mixture.

Can anyone help shed some real-world light on this?
