Here are the paint codes.

I can only find:
YAY
Pearl Nebular Black

Could it have been repainted? From your image the paint seems to be more of a satin black. If so that is not OEM.

PC monitors make colours very difficult to match, and black even more so.
Here is my 2010 DL650 in Pearl Nebular Black. The stickers are different to yours.

What makes you think that Pearl Nebular black is wrong?

I pai
They have nebular on rear fairing and under engine. Rest is some kind of semi/satin/mat metalic.

I paintet my tank yesterday with nebular, and it got black glossy metalic🤷
Yes, Nebular has a gloss finish.
It would seem unusual for Suzuki to create a one-off colour for a very small market.
Is there a Suzuki motorcycle importer to Norway, or do they come through another distributor, like Germany? Often small markets unite to combine their needs into one larger Suzuki order. Where do the dealers get their Suzuki's from?
That will allow you to trace back to the origin of your bike and then its colour code.

Alternatively it may be easier to paint the fairing to match the new tank colour.
Hmm.. im not sure about how the imports are done.. its already an old bike also. Will google a little👍

I like the color very much, so would be a shame to change it really..
And now gas tank are "ruined", so..

Is it not possible to search win number in a database somewere ?
As your colour contradicts the information generally available I would research where your bike came from - which I think would not be a Norwegian company. The volume would be too small to justify a solo production run.
A while back another V-Strom owner in Europe was asking about an Engish version of the owners manual as his V-Strom came with a German language manual - and he did not speak German.
Every low volume nation does not do an individual deal with the Suzuki factory. They add their numbers to a larger nations order as the factory prefers not to supply low volume production numbers.

That is why finding out where your distributor is based is important. It will then help you identify your bike through its VIN. Find out where the importer/distributor is and your VIN number will make sense in that nation.
I recently purchased from the U.S. a part for my Jeep that was not available locally. The U.S. supplier did not recognise my Jeep's VIN number.

Surely a Suzuki motorcycle dealer (or almost any motorcycle dealer in Norway) will know where Suzuki's come from. I very much doubt that they come direct from Hamamatsu.

Yep, that make sense. In general i never use original dealers for parts or anything, but.. maybe need to this time😄
I've looked further and seen that Germany supplied Matt Black DL650's
Font Rectangle Technology Multimedia Software

In later years (e.g. 2014) DL650's for the US market had

YLF
Metallic Thunder Gray
as a colour option.
Your bike seemed at the time limited to Germany etc. They should be able to identify your colour.

Seems we got a little closer to smth for sure👍😊

I sendt few emails to some dealers, so maybe will get an answer tomorow.

Looks like partnumber on painted parts, end with paint code..? I can not imagine they made several different black matt vstrom in that period..?

Looks exactly like my 2011.
The correct paint code is YKV MAT BLACK METALLIC no2. It also need mat clearcoat.
Got it confirmed by a Suzuki dealer.

I test painted yesterday, and it seems to match old paint perfectly👍👍
