So thanks to all the info on this forum, I installed my Oxford heated grips today.
I connected them to the oem heated grip connection using an Eastern Beaver connector.
My questions is, during my trial ride this afternoon, I found the throttle grip was warmer than the clutch side grip. Is this normal?
I should mention, I only tried them for a couple of minutes.

I've got an old set that has several connectors for input and left/right side. I checked the fit of them and tightened a couple and got my grips working well again.
The bike is an 04 so they've been in use for a while. Best warmers I've experienced so far.

Yes, the metal handlebar drain more heat than the plastic throttle tube, but if I remember well, this is compensated by more wattage on the left side.
