Went down to Suches for the 4th of July to watch the fireworks and ride the nice area roads for the long weekend. After the hours on the interstate, and even some off-roading, it seems that it ends up being the dumb slow things that put the bike on the ground.

Was leaving the parking lot after the fireworks and turned onto the road. Didn't give it enough throttle when I turned and the bike started leaning more than I could hold it up ( less than 5 mph ). Down we went. Bunch of people helped right the bike and make sure we were all right. Someone said "Hey it happens to all of us at some point" Still embarrassing though.

Only damage was turn signal, scuff on the hand guard, fairing, and luggage.

If you don't admit it, it never happened!
The 2 of us that were going to dinner at the recent Idaho rally were rocking our bikes off the center stand and both fell over when the center stand leg dug into the ground.
Feel better now?
