Thanks Tom, interesting stuff. It's funny that most of the old schools look like churches, a throwback to the missionary days I guess?
Old Schools
for a while I've been seeing Old Schools in my rides down backroads.
A few weeks ago I decided to start taking pictures of them and have a little album on facebook that shows the ones I have found, as well as Google maps/streetview links to them. The picture album is at:

You can view this album even if you aren't on Facebook. (It is just so handy to put them their.. take picture, send to facebook directly from my Blackberry.) I also made a map on Google Maps that shows the ones I found. Anne-Marie gove me the location of some in her area.
After doing this for a few weeks I found at thread on ADVrider where people were already doing this. One person there was very active at finding them so I have added her finds on the map as well. Here is the latest version of the map:
