A lot of Southwest Guys are familiar with Oatman.
But for those who are not or have not been through the area in a while here are a few links.
This may give you ideas for your Summer Touring.

Saddle Sore Ranch ? By Bikers, For Bikers?
Mohave Rattlesnake ? 10 miles, 222 curves.

You can hit this area from Vegas, Laughlin, Kingman, Havasu or Needles lodging easily or the Saddle Sore Ranch looks interesting.
Definitely a fun area to ride the bike just have to watch for any sand on the road if rain has been recent.

Been there, done that, several times. Never realized it qualified as exciting.
Some one otta go try the roads in San Gabriel Canyon area sometime. Like so many similar roads, best done during the week when the riff-raff is at work.

Its a fun road, but more I think of marketing to help local business.
I will spread the word to help the little guys anytime.
Also for people not familiar with the area coming through on tour.
I have ridden many times and never realized it was that many twists!
The Saddle Sore Ranch is something I need to visit next time through.

I'm glad you posted that info, I'll be in Havasu in April and had no idea about the Saddle Sore Ranch. We'll be on the cruisers and I don't know if I'll be able to get the others to check it out, but at least we'll know its there.

The guys who own Saddle Sore are Harley Riders.
They are just starting out but have the plan to pave around as they can afford to make it more bike friendly.
I like the whole idea of the free camping.

That devil's hwy is quite the ride, very challenging. I usually do it once a yr with some friends, but this month we're going to Durango instead. And I'll be doing it on my brand new V STROM. Can't wait!
