When turning the key on,nolights come on in the dash when key is turned. Just installed adventure tech lights on it,ran yellow wire directly to battery driving lights come on. Everything was working 2 days ago when it was installed.checked fuses in fuse block ok. Disconnected driving lights and put battery on maintainer overnight still no lights on dash when key is turned. Battery is 1year old and started 2 days ago with no problems. I have cycled start stop switch several times. Never had this problem before. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Check the battery voltage with a volt meter.

Throw battery on charger for a day. Let it sit for several hours and test it. If it is below 12.6 V or so, replace it.
Often a battery tender or maintainer or 'smart charger' will not start charging if it doesn't detect a certain voltage level ie a completely discharged battery. 2 ways to get around this are 1. connect to a old school battery charger and leave it for 10-15 minutes, then switch over to the tender and let it charge for 24 hours. 2. jumper it to a good battery ie car etc . leave it for a few minutes then see if the bike will start. by then you'll have enough charge in the battery for the tender to charge it. or you could go for a long drive and charge the fun way. You will want to verify the wiring changes to see why the battery went flat. A relatively new battery in warm weather should be able to be brought back to life without any damage.

Dose anything work like headlights, tail light or horn ?

Did you check the 30a fuse ?
No headlights or dash lights come on didn't check horn. Hand warmers and driving lights worked when I had them hooked up directly to battery. Checked fuses in fuse block are ok. I read there is also a master fuse .
The unit I use (Battery Minder) is a smart charger/maintainer/trickle charger that charges at 1.5A. It will start charging a battery that has a full charge of 12.8 V even. It has a status light that shows it charging and it will cycle off in an hour or so. Then drops onto float mode.

I have a brand new Japanese Yuasa battery in my bike. When it is parked, the tender is plugged in.
In front of the fuse block is the starter solenoid, remove the cover and check the 30a fuse, there are 2, one is in use the other a spare.

If the fuse is good bridge the 2 big terminals on the solenoid, this will bypass all safety switches so be in neutral.

This will test your battery and cables and the starter should spin, it will not start but should spin.

Thanks Rolex it was the main fuse. Thank you to everyone else for the suggestions

Now you need to work out why it failed and get a few spares.
