Hello all, Shane here from Pekin Il. Just got a used/new for me V Strom 1000. This is my 1st dual sport but I have yrs of street experience and rode dirt bikes as a kid. Got my strom because it was cheap:thumbup: LOL well and mostly because I love adventures and what better way to take the road less traveled. I have already gained lots of knowledge from reading threads on here. I have also already started farkling my bike; givi crash bars, yann skid plate and hiway bars, motorcycle larry rider peg lowering kit, and lifted my bars an inch. Not bad for having the bike just a week. Well just wanted to say Hi to everyone and hopefully I can hook up with some local illini off of here and get some rides in. Thanks Shane
