Hi all,
I've been a member here and lurking for awhile, but I figured I would introduce myself since you're probably going to be seeing a lot of questions from me soon.
SWMBO just authorized me to start looking for a Vstrom:thumbup:
I think I've decided on a 1000 as I will be doing very little dirt riding and will be riding 2 up in the CO mountains.
I'm looking at some bikes for sale that are already farkled out, and some that are not. Where are some good places to get Vstrom accessories? I might be in need of some hard side cases and maybe a trunk. Also possibly looking for some crash bars, skid plate, gear indicator, highway pegs, & center stand.
I have found a 2008 w/ 5400 miles for $5450. It's not really the color I wanted, but he already has an improved windshield and after market foot pegs on it. Is this a good deal? I think so.
What are some accessories you guys would consider must haves? This will be my daily commuter, with a 600 mile trip once or twice a month starting next summer.
