Howdee, Just brought my new 2011 Wee home tonight. Heading along the flat to Myrtle beach this weekend. Via a forest service road here and there. Looking forward to making some time for Western North Carolina too. It's blarringly apparent looking under the seat there is going to be a bit of a learning curve to under stand the inner workings of this bike compared my my 07 KLR. Going to be fun. I just can't get over how clean it is. For now :biggrinjester:

Welcome TwistyDave. One of my favorite day rides is up old 25 to Saluda for a burger at Ward's Hardware store (or BBQ at Green River), down Pearson's Falls road and back up 176 for some blacktop and back down old 25 towards home. Maybe we can meet up for a ride and eat sometime.:yesnod:

Yea love that ride up 25 and Pearson's Fall road. If you take that right on bottom of Pearson's Fall road after it turns to pavement and right before the railroad tracks is as good as it gets for some tight twisties. There is one section that's up hill with about 6 Ssss turn with no access roads on it. Pure beauty. The road take you back to Saluda, Just take a right when it dead ends.. I look forward to riding with ya when I make it back up. I'm planning on come up for a long weekend May 18ish. I'm going to stay one night at my house in Saluda then head to Tellico for "Tour de Tellico" it's a dual sport rally..... The tread in on KLRWORD.com
