I'm finally an official member of the DL650 owners club!
I bought a gently used (only 6,600 miles!) 2008 DL650, she's in fantastic condition.
I sold a 2014 DL1000 last year and have been craving another VStrom since then, figured I'd give the wee a try!
I pulled the tank and checked under her hood and everything looks great...plugs, air filter, wiring, etc. I haven't done much to her yet other than make a GPS mount and install a battery tender, 12v outlet and Givi monokey trunk mount. There's a bunch I want to do, skid plate crash bars, tires, barkbusters, etc but I'm so happy to have a great platform to build from!

Welcome. Congrats on the Wee. May I suggest if not yet done so, consider installing a voltmeter or similar method to monitor the charging system.

Thank you, yes...a digital voltmeter is coming soon. That was the only apprehension I had to purchasing the bike due to the known stator issue. Thankfully, there seems to be alot of good info about that issue on this forum.
