I've got a trip coming up in a few weeks and decided that I was going to go ahead and get some new tires installed. I'm at about 7,600 miles on the trailwings now but my trip will be about 2,000 miles so I didn't want to chance something happening during the trip so I opted to get some new tires just in case. I don't doubt I could get 9 - 9,500 on the trailwings from the way they look but just not worth the risk to me. Anyway, I went for some Pirelli Angel GT's this time around. So far my offroad excursions are driving through the gravel parking lot at work so I'm not worried about having a 90/10 or 80/20 tire or anything. I just wanted something to handle the pavement wet or dry and do well in the curves. Guess I'll find out. I dropped the bike off yesterday so I should be able to pick it up Monday.
That's what I'm hoping. I didn't really ready anything bad about them anywhere at all. Do you have personal experience with them? I'm just wondering about tire pressures if I keep them stock or do they like something a little higher or lower?
