There is a new navigation app that can give directions to practically any place on the globe. It’s “What3Words”. The system works cross platform and on mobile devices. The company has converted the globe into three random words that can pinpoint your location to within 30 feet. You can send those three words to anyone and with the assistance of their map or mobile app, you can send perfect location information and directions. Here is the link: https://what3words.com/ As an example, my home in Baja Mexico, out in the boonies, is beverages.revive.earthier.
In getting or giving directions to hard to find locations or setting a rendezvous location for others this is magic!

Outside of towns Latitude/Longitude works for me and is easily understood I think and in towns an address seems to work 99% of the time. Maybe I'm missing something but I'm not seeing the advantage.
