This is my first chain replacement, so please forgive the dumb question...

I replaced the chain on my DL1k with a 530 kit from Blair @ SVRacing. The chain is coated with what appears to be a white lithium-based grease. Do I need to remove that lube before applying my own chain lube (BelMar) or can I run what's on it for a couple hundred miles without an issue? The installation instructions that came with the chain were ambiguous on the matter.

Ignore the post from the dog dude. He's a bitter, angry man.

Just leave the factory lube until you'd normally lube the chain. It has more wax than regular lube, but there's no need to remove it.

I just left the lube on my chain as well, but I added my own just to be safe rather than leaving it be with the way it came. No problems so ken's probably right

I left it on, but the only problem with doing that is the white lube ends up flinging on everything making a big mess of the back of the bike.
