Changed out the chain/sprocket today, the rear Metzeler Tourance didn't look very healthy (bit square after 11000mi). Hmmm.

Tourances are apparently in short supply just now, so had to go with a Michelin T66X. Very, very different tread pattern.

Much too early to evaluate performance. New tyres, light rain, farm muck on the twisties. Wasn't even thinking about scraping the new frame sliders.

It's been 10-13 degrees here all week, so the Strom's been getting a good workout. Tomorrow's supposed to be clear and sunny! May try to scrub up the new rear tyre and see how it goes.

So far, so good on the Michelins. They seem stickier into the corners, although this could be due to the wear/tear on the Metzelers when they were pulled off.

But I like them.
