aaaarh the PE250,now that brings back some memories :yikes:I am looking forward to getting 'dirty' again on a motorbike after having a DR400, XT 600 and PE 250 many years ago.

I too rode a PE 250 but never saw it quite like that.
The other thing is that I was on the road where the guy is standing and riding from picture right to left.I too rode a PE 250 but never saw it quite like that.![]()
Did that to my RL250. We were fording a slightly flooded river following a 88" LR that was just floating when my mate on a Montessa rode in front of me. I stalled, dropped the bike and it re surfaced about 100m downstream. I really thought that it was heading out into the Pacific Ocean. Empty the tank, turn it upside down, take the plug out and pump the kick start a dozen times and then it fired up as good as new. Can't so that with no modern bike.Worst i saw it was riding a rapidly rising river crossing at Narrabri when it was 4 days old and being totally submerged
