The ratchet straps and zip ties did nothing but get in the way once the tire was over the rim. To get the last bit of tire over the bead in your last picture where the zip ties are you need to push the tire straight down to get the bead in the drop center. This will allow enough slack to get the ls of the tire bead over the rim.

You needed clamps, not straps and zip ties. The idea is to get as much of both beads into the drop well as you can, by squishing the two sides of the tire together. There was no way that tire was going on. Live and learn.
