Any suggestions for epic places to go in the baja? Im then going to take the ferry over to mazitlan. Not sure what way i am going to come back yet, so i would love to hear some suggestions. Kinda gotta get back before the snow flies so cant go too far south. Thanks alot!

You want BIG problems in Mexico, then bring a gun across the border. If the bad guys find it, they will probably use it on you to see if it works. If the federales find it, you may spend many years in the prison. And that ain't a pretty place...just sayin'.

Copper canyon is a must see,
stay out of big towns and city's,,,
very friendly people in Mexico, and beautiful women..
Its safe if you use common since,
I think Dec, and Jan and Feb are the best months for Mexico...
There is No winter once your there...

Agreed that Copper Canyon is amazing. While in Copper Canyon, try the chili relleno tacos that the old lady's make on the side of the road.

I use to bring packs of cigarettes. They helped when the locals would block the road to raise taxes for the "schools". Pull up the lead guy. Open a fresh pack of cigarettes and give him one. Place the pack on the hood of his car, while still chatting, slowly get back on your bike and ride away. Generally works very well.

Also, never get out your driver license or passport. Once they get it, you won't get it back till you visit the police station. I use to keep a bunch of old receipts in my tank bag. I would keep giving them over at check points until they got fed up and sent me on my way.
