Hey guys,
This weekend I'm heading down to VA/WV.
Will be heading on Friday evening to Rockville, MD and staying with a friend (rider). On Saturday I'm riding with him and a group of 5 to Shenandoah and sleeping in a hotel Roanoke, VA.
Then Sunday and Monday are Solo.
I could you need your advice on these days, Saturday I have no say (which is just fine)
This is what I've come up with for Sunday. Thinking of stopping in Buckhannon, WV at some motel/hotel.

On Monday I need to get back home to Fair Lawn, NJ, but of course looking for a brilliant route.

I'm from just outside Roanoke. When I get off work I'll send you a route I think would make most people happy. Tell me what riding you like and what general direction you want to go (I'm guessing north since you have to be back to NJ). I'd go with you a ways, but I have to work this weekend.
Also how long you want to ride.

As I mentioned, the general direction is indeed north.
I have two days to get back Roanoke back to northern NJ.
My riding style, well, it depends - but I do like gravel roads, country roads - love twisted roads. Don't like highways. Hard off-road is not possible with the Wee, but dirt/gravel roads, say 50 miles out of 250 miles a day, are great.
I did IronButt once, so I can surely ride long, but in this trip I'm not looking to do so many miles a day. 300-350 miles seems like a maximum for each day. I want to enjoy the scenery, not be in a constant rush. That is why I took Monday off.

Sorry for no reply, but the sh*t hit the fan at my household. I'll have to make this brief, take the parkway back north. Get off at Rt. 60 west to Beuna Vista and keep heading west on 60. Pass over top of I-81 and you'll come to a shopping district in Lexington with a Taco Bell on the right. You'll pick up the signs for Rt 11 north right after Taco Bell. Keep on Rt 11 north and on the outskirts of Lexington you'll pass over I-64. Take a left on Rt. 39 which is the next light. Rt 39 is a hoot and will take you into WVa. From there it's your pick on which route to head north (220, 92 etc.) Not as familiar with the WVa. section.
I'm assuming you know how to get back to the parkway from Hotel Roanoke.
Rt 60 will be about 35-40 mi up the parkway and is a hoot coming off the parkway. Look out for radar on the parkway anytime the speed limit drops to 35mph especially around Peaks of Otter (MM 185). Seems there is a full time radar trap on the north end of that 35 mph zone. I'll pm my cell.
