hey guys,
picked up my new wee last saturday. had to do some interstate on the ride home and got kinda spooked at how skitish it felt at freeway speeds and how badly wind gusts and cars passing made it feel..."lite in the loafers?"

anywho, after thinkin it over a while i remember someone posting that they had to crank up their rear preload to help the handling. when i checked mine it was all the way down. i have gradually eased mine up to just a grunt over the 3rd line. MUCH better. actually rode it the day of the storm down here in 30-40 mph winds, front, side and quartering and it feels a whole lot more stable. where do u guys have your rear preload set at?

also remember a bunch of posts about lowering the front forks in the tree about 15 mm. could use some thoughts and tips on performing this deed also should i wanna give it a go. as always, thanks for your advice.

3 is the norm I think.....4-5 for heavier loads. I live at 5 because I weigh as much as 2 average sized people.
