Welcome, please share all your tips for riding in deep sand! Not much of a sand friendly tire in that photo I don't think....or is it?

 

Hi, those are Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2's that came with the bike and I've only done about 2000km on it. I'd say they are 90/10 street biased and as I commute on the bike they are fine for now, would look at a 60/40 or 50/50 in future. What works for me in deeper sand is switching TC Off, not going too fast, being in 3rd or 4th gear so I can accelerate, standing with my weight pretty far back and squeezing the bike between my legs so I can steer without handlebar input. Not an expert, just what I've picked up so far.
