I just got my copy of the AMA member magazine and Ohio SR 170 was named number 14 of the top 15 motorcycle roads in the USA. This road is about 2 miles from my house, and has always been one of my favorites. I was pretty shocked it made the list. There are some pretty awesome roads on it (I've ridden a few of them).

Anyways, if someone wants a tour of the local twisty or dirt roads, give me a holler.

Congrats.

Now I haven't been able to find a single road in ohio that doesn't suck, so what is this publication and where can I find your road?

Wow! I find this hard to believe! :yikes: Seriously!

We ride to Ohio every chance we can get, especially SE Ohio, to ride virtually deserted twisty, windy roads for miles and miles.

Ohio roads are the best kept secret...even to some Ohio residents, I guess! Get yourself down to Marietta and ride all the roads in the National Forest there, for starters.

I find this crazy! I used to live in upstate NY, and put 10k miles on my bike in a course of 2 season. Down here in Ohio, I put on about 250-500 a YEAR because I find the riding so bland. I fuess I need to go out East. I live in Cincinnati and have gone north, but its all flat and all the roads are straight...

Just discovered some treks in KY, but I'll check out the nat'l forest around marietta! I hope your right!

You obviously have no friggin idea about the roads in this state........just ask anybody that comes from out of state "AND IN STATE" to my Laborday moto rally. Eastern.......N Eastern.....South Eastern OHIO and just plain ole Southern Ohio, has some roads that would make you giggle like a school girl. Still don't believe me......just come to the rally or "actually get out and ride around this great state".:yesnod:

I honestly haven't been on these roads in my own state which I do hope to rectify this year. :jawdrop: But I do know there is even some decent riding near Cincinnati. Head east past East Fork Lake and there is some great riding. If I'm just going out for a couple hours I'll ride out that way and just ride around. Can't really get lost. Head south and you'll hit the river and take 52 back west to Cincy. It's a good little cruisin' road.

Un huh

Guess that spider has never ridden in north central Pa either. Some of the best moto roads (dirt and pavement) in the country.
