The Deweze was a mower specifically designed to cut on slopes by running parallel to the slope. The mower (60" cut in this case) will automatically follow the slope while the machine itself, where you sit, stays fairly level. You can actually drive it right down the middle of a ditch and the mower will raise and lower as required to follow the sides. It was kind of like a heavy dirt bike with tractor tires and hydrostatic drive and a mower side car.:yesnod:

Wouldn't wish to asperse Aspergers - but the product description (above) could have been stated in a manner less ambiguously amusing.

BTW, what price do these clever things go for, when new?

It's a bit pricey . . . . but I suppose only to be expected for specialized engineering & presumably low production numbers.
