I've searched and I can't find an answer to this. If it is somewhere let me know. If not..

Am getting a pair of MTD panniers to mount on SW-motech racks should arrive by the end of the week. They come with a mounting kit that I have to fit so that I can put them on where I want.

My question is where do I want them? High? Low? More forward or toward the back? Parallel to the road or tilted up?

The Wee is my first bike so obviously these will be the first panniers I have had to fit. Any input would be a great help.http://www.stromtrooper.com/images/moresmilies/new_confused2.gif

Take a look on the lugauge pictures thread and see what you like the look of.

Stick them on with ocky straps and step back and look at them.

To high can get in the way for a pillion, to high and/or to far back can cause weight distribution problems over back wheel. To low will affect ground clearance when cornering.
