I need the experts to help me a bit cause I do not want to make a mistake. I have just purchased a spot light harness from aliexpress and it arrived but there are no instructions attached. Please see the picture below, my question is where will the red wire next to Diagram 1 (Where it says LINK THE POSTIVE WIRE) be connected. By the way I already have a fuse box which gets the live + (HOT) from a switched light, so when I attach any auxliary lights etc, they will be on only when the engine is ON. View attachment 313908

if the+ lead from the switch is too short, I would splice the #1 red wire to a positive wire on a switched source, like the city light or horn wire, the positive #2 to a + terminal on your fuse block and the - to the FB's -terminal or ground. That how I wired my Adventure Tech lights.

If you don't want to mess with having a switch (if you don't ever want or need to turn the lights off), buy a Healtech Thunderbox. Makes life easy wiring aftermarket accessories.

buy a Healtech Thunderbox
No need to buy anything. OP already has a switched fuse box.

@Korekasyon If you don't want to mess with the switch, i.e. don't need the ability to turn the lights OFF when the ignition is ON, and simply want your lights to come on or off with the ignition:
  • Cut the grey (trigger) wire from the relay where it reaches the connector at [1]. This will remove the connector and the 2nd red wire on the left. (see bright green line at 1)
  • Connect the grey wire to your fuse box [+] along with the main red wire at [2]. (see extended gray line from 1 to 2 at fuse box)
  • And technically, since you're connecting to a fuse box, you don't need the inline fuse - you could remove it and connect the remainder of the main red wire to the fuse box at [2]. (see yellow line between relay and inline fuse, and extended red line from relay, around inline fuse, to fuse box.
