Didn't see a 'general bike talk' subforum, so posting this here:

We know Kawasaki just stepped up to the plate with their Versys as a direct Wee-Strom competitor, and it looks like Triumph may join the club w/ a 675cc version of the Tiger. :cool:

It even has the same lack of belly pan as the wee, but in this case all 3 headers are exposed.

It seems more an SV650 competitor. As the Versys, no pillon room, no luggage room so it's versatility is limited compared to the Strom. Sport Touring, ok. Adventure Touring, nope. I would not take that very far off the pavement.

Why do they try and make the front half of the bike practical and the back half is still a sportbike with the tail section aiming for the moon and high pegs?

How am I gonna strap my big Pelicans to that?

I like it but agree about the foot peg placement (front). No good for me.
