Looked for the answer, but I cannot find it. I just received my mirror extenders in and they came in a bubbled package with NO INSTRUCTIONS!! This is usually a no brainer, however, it has one post that is longer than the other. Does the longer extender go on the clutch side or the brake side??

I put my long extension on the left and short extension on the right (throttle) side.

If you examine the mounts on the bike and then closely look at the mirrors, you will notice that the LH mirror is lower than the one on the right.
The mirror perch on the clutch is shorter than the one on the brake!

If you'd like your mirrors to be at the same height (as they should have been from the factory) then place the longer spacer on the clutch side.

Actually, I think that's the only way that it will work, because if you put the short spacer on the clutch side then the extender will run into the controls.
