Just a quick bump, a month later, how are the exp's working for you? Any difference in opinion?SWMoto (swmototires.com) carries the new EXP. I just put some on a week ago. $261 delivered to my door (free shipping when you order two). SWMoto was fast -- I ordered them on a Tuesday and they were delivered to me (in Washington) on Friday. It's too soon to report on their performance yet, but they seem to have a better ride, in general, than my 12,000-mile-old Trailwings.
I'm back from a leisurely 1,800 mile trip through Central Washington, Central Oregon, around Crater Lake, up the coast of Oregon and Washington, over to Victoria, across to Vancouver BC and back home to Washington. There was the occasional rainy day, and the EXPs did just fine. I'm not an agressive, heavy leaner -- my chicken strips remain about a quarter inch wide. It's hard to quantify how well they held their ground, as I never felt a slip or a bump from them in the turns. They ride very smooth, and they look barely used.Just a quick bump, a month later, how are the exp's working for you? Any difference in opinion?
According to Metzeler's online catalog, the Tourance EXP is a slightly more street oriented tire over the regular. They classify regular as 90% ON / 10Anyone know what the difference is between the regular Tourance and the EXP is?
Let us know if you ever find something, because I would get that too!!!I have been looking for a 60/40 to 70/30 tire. No luck so far.
