I love these things for soap scum removal. Anybody use these on vehicles or motorcycles? There seems to be little online about it. The only detractors seem to say that it will scuff your paint but that the marring is so fine you cant visibly see it. That said, it is not listed as an official tip on any of the manufacturers websites. I used it on a work vehicle which had been neglected with lovebugs and it worked amazingly. I had previously tried harsh chemicals and a tire brush with no luck. I did not see damage from the sponge and it worked amazingly fast with little elbow grease.

I like them for cleaning wheels and the inside of the rear fender. I hadn't considered them for clear coated paint or windscreens.

They work wonderfully for cleaning around the house but I suspect it would be like washing your shiny parts with super fine steel wool. It's get the job done but the results may be less than inspiring after a few times.
