It is him, and since he sold his V-Strom to his father and it was described as his father's bike, that's probably what he was riding.

Actually I was riding my dad's old bike ('83 Kawi KZ550 Sceptre). The Wee-Strom is safe, thankfully. And I'm on the mend as well.
