Some of you may know Mark B, who owned a V-Strom until recently and now has a Triumph 800.

He was hit by an SUV near his home in Burlington, VT yesterday and seriously injured. Apparently he hit his head (had a FF helmet) and broke his leg.

I have his home address if any of you know him and want to send him a card. Send me a PM.

Thanks for the well wishes, everyone.

Yes, it was me, yes I was hit by an SUV, but the bike was my dad's old '83 Kawasaki KZ550 Sceptre. So no worries, no Stroms were harmed in the making of this post!

Accident was on Wednesday, it's now Monday, and my head is pretty clear though I still can't walk. Soon enough, though!

I don't know you, and vice-versa. But I've been following the thread on NESR. Hadn't made the connection that you were a 'strom guy until this thread.

Glad to hear you are on the road back. Sucky situation. Hope your back in the saddle soon.

Get better

Mark,

We don't know each other but from one motorcyclist to another. I am happy to hear you are ok. Best wishes for a speedy and full recovery.
From the original post it sounds like you had full gear on so glad it did what it was suppose to.

Saw your posts on NESR. Glad to hear you are doing better. You'll be able to tell who your real friends are because they won't be offering to buy your Oxycontin prescription.:green_lol:
