Hi fellow Stromers
Its been a while since I've checked in. Hope everyone is well.
Getting the Vee ready for Spring.......and riding the DR surprisingly often during this warm winter.

Spent some time riding in Costa Rica......not on a Strom but........quite the blast.

Great photos Whaler!!! I am glad to see that you are out and about taking advantage of the warm weather we had last week! REALLY warm weather in Costa Rica! Good For You!

I am envious about the DR! It keeps gnawing at my belly..... I want one! (And, money is cheap right now......... Gotta stay away from the dealership and focus on building my airplane!).

A friend of mine posted on Facebook today, that it is 36 days away from Spring. I hope to get a phone call from you to go for a ride somewhere together!

Hi Barry, hope all is well. You soloing now?
I actually traded the DR650 in for a DR350. Needed something smaller and with an e-start. Fun bike and looking forward to a summer bombing around on it.
In early April I am trucking the Vee to NC and will be riding NC, Tenn, Ark, Ohio, Miss and points west for a couple of weeks (i stopped working and am enjoying my time). I will call or email you and we should get together for a ride when the weather breaks.

I actually had to stop flying late last summer due to $$$ reasons. But, I have started back up again. I flew last Sunday, and I flew yesterday, Feb 26. I have not soloed yet, which is not an issue with me. I am not in a race to solo, I am in a race to perfect what I know, and to keep learning something new, every time I get a chance to go up.
