I'm 6' tall, but with only a 30" leg inseam, so I bet I'm as tall or taller than you from the saddle up.
I just installed mine earlier this week, but thanks to Mother Nature I only have 3 rides with it totaling about 70 miles. (It's mid-April, winter can end any time now.)
The air flow past my body and head is much smoother now, but I bet with another fine adjustment or two I can get it even better. My arbitrary mounting of it also shows me that I need to lower its adjustment height just a bit so the top of my Givi windshield is just a little lower below my sight line. Of course if I leave it where it is, it will help break me of my slouching habit- maybe I'll leave it along for height.
Now, I've been riding with it so far in temps ranging from 32 to about 40 degrees. Temps like this naturally lead to fogging helmet visors, so at anything below highway speeds I have to ride with the face shield of my full face helmet cracked open one notch. The Madstad decreases buffeting by allowing more air to travel behind the windshield from below it, so when my face shield is cracked open I am getting even more cold air inside my helmet. Some kind of anti-fog system is what I need to find now, so I can keep the face shield shut. Yes, all the helmet vents are wide open. In another week or two, this will no longer be a problem as the temps rise.
There is a minor tapping coming from the left mount on mine when I hit bumps, so I need to re-check my installation. Likely unique to my installation, I'd guess.
I'm glad I bought it. It is providing an even smoother ride that with just the Givi shield alone. And is vastly superior to just the stock windshield alone. I have no problem recommending it.
