HI all: Just installed a Madstad. Installation went smooth enough. But I hate the "term" snug in the instructions. Since they use these rubber compression nut sleeves I can see their point but how tight is too tight.

So how do you know when "snug" is not too tight (I know that sounds bad:mrgreen: )

I consider "snug" a 4 setting on the clutch of my cordless 18v Dewalt Drill
Thanks. At least you have a definition. For me it is a "feel" thing, but on a windscreen that concerns me. Really don't want it coming off at 70 mph.:(

ASME mechanical defines snug as one half turn pass finger tight. I am an ASME inspector, sorry I didn't see this sooner.
