Anyone know what size ball bearings are required to restore the click on the rear preload adjuster? Took the plastic grip off to free up the sticky adjuster and the spring loaded balls launched themselves across my workshop floor :furious: Seeing as as my workshop floor shares certain characteristics with the Bermuda Triangle, I figured I might as well buy replacements from my local cycle shop, seeing as a bag of them costs less than a cup of coffee. Trouble is they come in various different sizes
Any idea what size to get?

You still have the holes in the adjuster with the springs inside. You'll need ball bearings slightly smaller than the holes. Use grease to stick the bearings to the springs.

A visit to the local cycle store has solved the problem! I took the spring in and guessed the size I needed. I now have about 25 spares if anyone suffers the same mishap!!!
