Loose relays

Hey there. Has anyone else noticed two small electrical devices laying under the left side cover just aft of the rectifier? I haven't referenced the wiring diamgram yet to see what they do, but they're not secured to anything. Like most all motorcycle/auto electronic bits, they have a clip on the back that could be used to mount them to some kind of holder but there doesn't appear to be anything nearby for them to latch onto. Are they supposed to just be laying in there? Doesn't seem right at all.

Thanks.

Jeff

Are you talking about the two connectors for the TPS test and the other being for the ECM?

They lie between a subframe rail and the left side cover, though they are about the size of a relay they are actually diagnostic connectors. The smaller will be for the TPS test, you jumper pins and read the results on the dash, the larger is used to plug like a Yosh or Teka box in to remap the FI.

Excellent, yes those. They're not secured in any way? They just lay there?

I suppose it's not a big deal but being a retired aircraft mechanic, it just seems odd to see anything that's not tied down.

Thanks.
