So i let a friend try to learn to ride a bike, and needless to say, my strom took a spill. Well, the wheels are fixed, brake pedal bent back in place, forks moved back in line(were twisted), and his bone has healed, it feels slightly loose on braking on uneven roads. I think the steerer tube is a lil loose. what has to be done to tighten it?

Went into a ditch after too much gas and forgetting what the clutch did and hit a foot figh culvert. strom and passenger got about 3ft off the ground. Ive had better days. so has he. Post accident I probably have a thousand miles on the bike and am sick of the loose feeling and want to fix it.

Put the bike on a stand so the front wheel is off the ground. Grasp the forks at their base and try to move them fore and aft. If the play you feel is there, then that's the steering stem. Hopefully, you just need to tighten the steering stem nut (located under the top triple clamp).
