Well... I'm taking a 4th look at rebuilding my dl650 after a jackass pulled out in front and trashed the front end. Anyone have a set of these long tubes that attach to the handle bars for sale? I'm in kw area near Toronto ontairo.

I was in a similar situation this winter...

I watched eBay and got a set of salvage forks for about $150 shipped. They were from a fire loss. I had to use my original caps as the O-ring had melted and I'm glad I totally rebuilt them because the seals were dry, the oil was gross and I flushed a fair amount of crap out of them. Now I have an extra set of lowers and internals I can use (and I might be able to straighten the tubes) as spares.

It was a good opportunity to upgrade the springs and add emulators with the left over insurance money I saved by doing my own work and not buying new Suzuki parts.

Just keep watching ebay it is a hit or miss. When my wife went down on her vee I spent a lot of time on there and eventually each part I needed came up and was rather affordable. I even got a brand new headlight mask for 100 dollars. Another idea unless your set on back to new is to use a truck bed liner to paint it up. That works really well if you are going to be off road a fair amount.
