I had my new to me DL1000 for sevreral rides worth 200 miles when my bar risers came in the mail. They came quick! Its a good thing they did. I noticed the PO rotated the handlebars downward. Well...the clamp bolts were LOOSE when I installed the risers! Something to think about!

Maybe it is time to get out the tools and go over the whole bike for loose stuff.

I second that if your dealer is that bad (probably a kid doing the work) it would be a good idea to go over everything....seems a lot of dealers have trouble tightening bolts???

I get teased by my buddies, but I always go over used bike with a fine toothed comb, including disassembling steering heads and swingarm and linkages.

Check everything, but do it with a torque wrench. Sometimes one man's loose is another man's snug:argue:
