So soon will be buying a new rear to replace Anakee 2

OLD stock tire 4000
Anakee 2 I think will live for 6000

I have a heavy wrist

I am smelling around Continental Trail Attack as its supposed to be harder in the middle but I am wearing my mucking boots

SO who rides hard and had any good experience with a longer lasting rear.

Love the Conti Road Attack 2 but the rear will wear out quickly.

Tourance gets good mileage for most folks, either bike.

I'm getting 8k for rears. Just put a new Pilot Road 2 on and hopefully with the duel compound rubber I get an improvement.

I average 21,000km (13,125mi) on Tourance rear tires on my Vee. I might not ride as hard as you, but can't imagine any tire lasting much better.

I've gotten 8000 + out of the last two rear Tourances. Mostly pavement with some gravel. Some of those miles were with fairly heavy loads.

I once got just over 11000 miles on a Trail Attack... But that was all the way to the cords.........:yikes:

Anakee 2

Stick with those Anakee 2s!! They last a bit longer than Tourances and handle like race tires in the wet or dry. If you want to try something different, buy the Tourances. Forget the rest except for Conti. TKC 80s for the mud.
I go through a set of tires per year so have a bit of experience.
