Subscribed as I have the same jack and will be looking for a way to lift my Vee.
I bought the jack from a buddy who had to use blocks on the lift to avoid his exhaust, but he also had frame rails to lift from. We don't have those. I haven't spent a bunch of time investigating this issue yet, but I am interested.
If I come up with something that works, I'll be sure to post.
I got in touch with a guy called Yann D. and he fabricates some very strong looking skid plates (can be seen here). He guarantees that it's strong enough to lift the bike through it and he does it often when changing wheels. They are a bit pricey ($180-$240) but seem like they do the trick.
The downside is that lifting the bike requires the skid plate to be on...kind of annoying.
I think I will put that on my wish list as I already spent a ton of money getting this used bike up to spec.
