I got a new Bandit 1250 loving it however letting go of my Wee has turned out to be a lot harder than what I thought, some real good times on that bike..... second thoughts about selling the Wee.

How do you like the Bandit compared with the Wee?
I have a friend with a Bandit and he's trying to convince me to switch
So far I am resisting to even trying the Bandit. I do not want to be tempted :yesnod:
I'll keep the Wee for as long as I can ...

The Wee and V to me are serious dual purpose bikes that I wouldn't hesitate to ride the Pacfic Crest backroads. The Wee appears to be more off road worthy though with the lighter weight and different gearing.

I have a 1000, which I'd ride cross country to include some light duty off roading (logging trails). I like mine so much that I am seriously considering trying to find a good used Wee for some of the more serious off road riding and dedicating the V for sport touring.

My friend, I'd keep that Wee if you intend to go off road at all. From some of the pics I've seen, some guys take the Bandit off road but it does not seem to be designed for that but rather a sport tourer with a conventional riding position. It looks like a great bike though.

If you can swing it I highly recommend giving it some time before ditching the wee. Ride that Bandit a good many miles before getting rid of the strom. I just know from my own experience is that a new bike can do no wrong until I've got some serious time on it. Just a thought. I've owned two of the older generation bandits. They are great bikes. One niggle with my bandits is that I never achieved the level of wind protection I would have liked for touring. Great great bike though.

Don't let Big B see you calling these bikes "Sport Tourers". :yikes:

Did I see you riding the Bandit down Main Street in Hendersonville today (Friday) at about noon?
